Born in Quebec in May 1964 and educated primarily at the University of Montreal, Natalie Savard draws on intimacy, interiority and the everyday for inspiration. The themes in her work emerge from images and moments, embellished and imprinted in her memory and represented through the use of different mediums. Her pieces suggest the mark of a world not always very far away, but already passed. The omnipresence of diffused light accentuates the feeling of being at home, where more than anywhere, it is comforting to be. Natalie has garnered numerous awards and has exhibited throughout North America.
